Everything we bought for a bedroom for two kids in the East Village, with the help of an uber talented designer.
Sharing a room has its benefits, and its challenges (probably more of the latter). As does decorating one. In our two bedroom apartment we needed to get creative with our kid’s shared room. We pulled in Cira James, the founder of Cira James Design (who also happens to be my husband’s long time bestie, lucky me) to supervise the job.
With a big kid boy and a toddler girl, we wanted to be mindful of creating a space for both of them that reflected their own needs and personalities, but was versatile enough to fit the space and grow with them. And, ahem, look cool.
