When I started racing in highschool I remembered being so annoyed that I had to wear a helmet. That is until I took my first run wearing one – they are so warm and you don’t have to worry about your hat falling off. I like to get the kids bright helmets so I can keep track of them when they go straight down the mountain without turning at full speed.
