Sarah is a singer songwriter who was born in Canada and grew up in North Carolina. She was on American Idol (under her maiden name, Sarah Mather) and made it to the finals. After the show, she moved to NYC, where she met her Grammy-nominated producer husband, Ernie Lake. She took a brief break from music to start a family. After a deep personal loss of her father in Nov 2018 her songwriting became vital for her healing and survival. Although she continues to write mainstream country and pop music her artist sound has evolved into a more Americana feel. You can hear her song “Devil in My Head” now playing on Nashville Radio station Lightning 100 and Spotify playlists. She plans to release more songs in 2020.
